Next-Generation Sequencing: The Smarter Path to Bulk Harvest Release Testing

Invited by PathoQuest

Thursday, June 26, 2025
8:00 am PT, 11:00 am ET, 17:00 CEST

Join OXB’s Victor González Motos, Quality Control Specialist at OXB, and leading experts from PathoQuest for a GEN-hosted webinar exploring next-generation sequencing (NGS) in adventitious virus testing. A live Q&A session will follow the presentation, offering you a chance to pose questions to our expert panelists. Reserve your spot today and stay ahead of emerging trends in biosafety testing.

What will you learn during this webinar?

    • How NGS enhances bulk harvest testing for adventitious viruses
    • Steps to implement a GMP-compliant NGS workflow in biomanufacturing
    • Regulatory trends driving NGS adoption in bulk release testing

About our OXB speaker, Victor González Motos

Victor González Motos

An interdisciplinary scientist with expertise in Molecular Virology, Immunology, and Infection Biology, Victor González Motos has a strong background in experimental design, molecular interaction studies, gene expression analysis, and protein purification. During his PhD, he identified and characterized a viral protein from human herpesvirus 3 that modulates immune responses by influencing cell migration. In his postdoctoral research, he focused on the characterization of a therapeutic antibody with potential applications in chronic hepatitis C and liver cancer.

His experience also includes industrial biotechnology, where he served as a Development Manager, leading the design and development of RUO and IVD assays. Victor is currently a Quality Control Specialist at OXB, responsible for planning and analyzing experiments to ensure the quality and consistency of vaccines and viral vectors.
