Social responsibility overview

OXB fosters a diverse, inclusive and equitable environment where employees feel valued and empowered. We engage with communities and suppliers to create mutual value and economic opportunities.

People and patients

At OXB, we prioritise ethical and socially responsible cell and gene therapies. Our Global Technical and Innovation Committee ensures viral vectors are produced sustainably while patient and client stories shared internally highlight 
the real-world impact of our work and inspire our employees.

Employees and EDI

We provide an inclusive workplace with mandatory EDI training, harassment prevention and policies supporting equality, neurodiversity, menopause and LGBTQIA+ inclusion across UK, US and France sites.

Health and safety

Site-level H&S objectives are monitored including training compliance and Lost 
Time Injury Rate. Internal audits provide assurance on safety procedures.

Community engagement and volunteering

Employees can request volunteer days for initiatives such as Habitat for Humanity, 
food banks, school events, environmental conservation projects and more.

Responsible supply chain

Governance: Ensuring transparency and accountability

Framework

Strong governance underpins our ESG commitments. In 2024, we transitioned from a five-pillar model to three priorities: Environment, Social and Governance, for clearer alignment and risk management.

Oversight

The ESGR Committee integrates environmental, social, governance and risk oversight to ensure accountability.
